Travelling...

I just got back from a trip to Dallas. (and boy is my nose tired!) I ended up getting a cold or something my first day down there and didn't have that much fun. But, in another week I head to xmas with the family. That should be fun.

Gaming...

Man it has been two months since I have updated my website? That is too long! I have been busy with competing in corprate events around town this month. I got totally owned last night at darts. But, hey it was fun. Spades will be coming up and I can't wait!

I have also been playing Guitar Hero. I can't seem to put it down sometimes. It is just as addicting as Dance Dance Revolution. Now just wait until I put Guitar Hero on the PC. (and can do any song that I create the strumming for) That with ROCK!

Also news of the Wii is out today. $250 with controller and game. It is a little more pricey than I had originally thought. But, I think I still am going to pick up one for the novelty of the controller. I can see gameplay going more and more into interactivity (it all started with Dance Dance). I like that...

TV Homework

Well I am back from vacation! I have been trying to catch up on all of the TV that I missed out on when I left. It definitely is nice to have an HTPC... no more worrying about if the VCR will record something.

Vacation

Well I will be off for about a week. I am heading up to see my grandparents. It should be a good time. Don't expect any updates anytime soon.

New front door

Well I was able to put a new front door in. It went relatively painless and looks much better. I should have some pictures and a page for it soon...

Well Argentina didn't make it that far at all... and France didn't win. Oh well right? Although did you see the headbutt by Zidane? Man that had to hurt!

Lucky?

I just read an article online that talked about a guy that made a million from advertising that he sold on his website. From the way he portrayed it, making the money was relatively easy (you just had to know the system). I am a smart guy I should be able to figure this out.... but how? I need that one good idea on how to make the advertising dollars.

World Cup

I think I am going to try to add some new pages to this site so it can be fresh and new... but what to add? Here is a look at how things are going in the world cup. It sucks that the USA is out of it. Go Argentina!

Well life is just pushing along... I have a 10th year class reunion coming up at the end of next month. That should be fun. I haven't seen a lot of people from my old high school in a while...

Da Vinci

Well I think the ciritics were way too hard on Da Vinci Code. It follows the book pretty well (up until the end). It was pretty action packed and fun. Not much else to report recently. Apparently the "old" version of Blade Runner is coming to DVD soon... that should be interesting.

Fore-shadowing?

I am going to see the Da Vinci Code tomorrow with a friend of mine. I can't wait to see it (even though I have heard bad things about it). I really liked the book (and Angels and Demons) and wonder how it will transfer to film.

Old time fun...

I watched the Final Fantasy : Advent Children Movie last night. It was good but, I think only those that have played the game could really enjoy it. I would liken it to going to a reunion and seeing all those friends that you remember. It was a good film don't get me wrong (and the graphics are just outstandingly amazing, almost just worth seeing the film because if it) but, for the average movie watcher it wouldn't hold much appeal.

Stupid HTPC!

Well I didn't catch Survivor last night but, hopefully I can catch it tonight when i get home. I pray that my HTPC recorded it correctly!!

Long awaited release

It is finally done! Final Fantasy X is defeated. The ending was good and definitely makes me feel like something was acomplished (even thought it is just a video game). Maybe I need to work some on the house now!

Sin??

I have finally gotten inside SIN! (sounds bad doesn't it?) I finally got past a boss in Final Fantasy X that I have been trying to get into for over a year. I don't know what I did differently but battles are so much easier. I must be using a different strategy. I am thinking about picking up a DS Lite when they come up for purchase next week. I might not though.

Gencon...

Boy, what a mad dash to get registered for Gencon this year. I wasn't able to get enough tickets for the Goodman games tourney. I was able to register for myself but, as per the allowable registrations I couldn't get any registered for my buddies since they had accounts of thier own. I definitely think that the way to register for gencon is to take the afternoon off and have everyone pick what they want and rush the system all under one account so you can all get registered for what you want.

I was able to pick up two tickets for True Dungeon. It should be fun but it was the most costly for the events. All the other events really had a lot of bang for the buck. They averaged out to something like a buck an hour (for a 5 to 6 hour session!). It should be fun!!

Gencon

Well one of my online buddies pointed out I haven't been updating my website as much as I should have. So here! I am updating....

I am trying to grab more songs for Stepmania. I am trying to get back into that so I can get more exercise... soo many songs that are so freakin' fast! 

Torn

I haven't been updating as much as I would like. These two jobs will be the death of me! I got in my licks on running my first game last Sat. It was definitely interesting... lots to keep up with but, a definite sense of power!

Cuz...

My cousin finally got himself a google page! Not much there right now but, soon there should be some stuff. I expect pictures! I also changed the webpage layout to something else google had. The green was starting to get to me as I have a lot of it in the house...

Death and...

It rains it pours eh? It seems like I have been really busy lately. I just paid off my taxes for the year so that is a big burden off my shoulders. I need to check in with my cuz but, he is most likely working 20 hour days trying to beat the dealine for his clients taxes!

Time to relax a little and enjoy the setups that I have... also to pay off all of it! 

Lost...

Man Uconn lost yesterday. What an upset! This year my brackets totally got screwed.... oh well. At least tonight Adult Swim starts thier earlier line up! Now I can at least catch one show before I have to head to bed. Also more for my HTPC to record...

New Floor

I was able to post some of the laminate pictures today. Check them out. I am not done with it but, at least half of it is done. Coils of Set is also available now. Pick it up... I am credited in the cover!

PC Gaming rocks!

I have been doing some gaming on the new machine and it rocks! But, time for the tourney. Do you have your brackets filled out? UConn all the way!

Holding my breath...

I can't wait to get some gaming in this weekend. I want to try out all of the equipment I have to make playing the games on the machine as fun as possible. I am also roleplaying all weekend... I should start thinking about setting up a gaming server so that I can play with people over the internet (namely my cuz in NY and a friend in NE) 

New TV!!

I am breaking in the new TV right now.  I am just setting it to a channel and letting it display all night and day when I am not using it. It should be broken in by Wednesday of this week. Then I will start to setup the games! 

notes

I have posted the game notes (what I can remember anyway) on the sidebar. If the gaming group could take a look at them and let me know any possible changes that would be great. I will send out an email for you guys to check it out. Now it is back to playing with my new tv and leveling up my character for tomorrow!

New Google... yeah!

Google makes page create really easy! I am currently working on creating game notes online for your sunday gaming sessions. I will try to get all of the past notes that our DM has posted on other boards that relate to the campaign. After that I will try to update each week to both refresh my memory as well as give a spot for the other players to review what they have done. 

Page creator

I have started to check out this page creator from google. This is very similar to a product that I had ben developing about 4 years ago with the web development company I had. But, it wasn't nearly this cool!
